UK sustainability non-profit WRAP has launched its new Clear on Plastics campaign, in a bid to better inform the general public in the face of mounting levels of plastic pollution.
The organisation, which leads The UK Plastics Pact, says it wants to provide clear, concise information on plastics in the environment, and will provide advice on how people can reduce their use of the material at home.
“We’ve listened to the most common areas for confusion and have designed Clear on Plastics to address those, so that citizens are empowered to make their own informed decisions when it comes to plastics,” said Peter Maddox, director of WRAP
